ASAAF is the Association of Amateur Astronomers from the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

There are plenty of students that join the group because they share astronomy and science as hobbies and they organize astro-camping, observations and talks.

Street spectra
In this context, professor Jaime Zamorano gave the group a talk for them to know Street spectra and taught them how to take valuable measurements of the street lamps by using a diffraction grating on top of the camera of their smartphones.
First results
The students that participated in the workshop have already upload their contributions to the Street Spectra database in epicollect5 adding to their nickname the acronym “ASAAF”
